The current weather forecast is indicating high humidity for Thursday 27th April with the possibility of disruption to Skybus flights throughout the day.

Although no flights have been cancelled at this time there are a significant number of passengers intending to fly for the World Pilot Gig Championships.

To support our passengers and the gig rowing community we are putting on an additional sailing on Friday 28th April 2023.

Changes to Friday’s scheduled sailings

The 10:30 sailing has been re-scheduled for departure at the new time of 13:30 to allow for an additional return crossing on Friday morning.

Penzance to Isles of Scilly sailing at the new time of 13:30

All passengers booked onto the 10:30 Scillonian III sailing will be moved to the 13:30 sailing departing from Penzance.

Check-in on Penzance Quay from 09:30 to 12:00.

Isles of Scilly to Penzance sailing at the new time of 17:00

All passengers booked onto the 16:30 Scillonian III sailing will be moved to the 17:00 sailing departing from St Mary’s.

Check-in on St Mary’s Quay from 15:45 to 16:30.

The additional sailings below have been scheduled on Friday 28th April for Skybus transfers

Skybus Operations staff will contact all passengers due to travel on Thursday 27th April from Land’s End, Exeter and St Mary’s Airports, to provide information about the transfer process and answer any queries.

New sailing – Penzance to Isles of Scilly 06:30 departure

Check-in Penzance Quay from 05:15 to 06:00.

Skybus passengers with car parking at Land’s End Airport are asked to arrive at Land’s End Airport no later than 05:00 where you will be transferred to Penzance Quay on waiting coaches.

New sailing – Isles of Scilly to Penzance 10:00 departure

Check-in on St Mary’s Quay from 08:45 to 09:30
