Freight Bookings
How to get your freight on to the Gry Maritha…
All freight deliveries need to be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance — and if you’re shipping an especially large item, we’ll ask for a little more notice, as deck space is limited.
When booking your freight we will need the following details:
- Your name, full address, and account number
- Where the goods are coming from, or who they are being delivered by
- A description of the goods
- How much the goods weigh
- A Dangerous Goods note, if applicable
- A completed shipping note to accompany your items
All items are shipped through open quays and must be packaged to provide adequate protection from rain and weather. Goods must be clearly labelled for destination and are subject to the general conditions of carriage at owner’s risk. We reserve the right to refuse any consignment not properly packed or booked.
The Company reserves the right to have all loads checked for weights. Any weighbridge charges to be the responsibility of the customer and will be charged in addition to normal freight charges. Parcels consigned without stating the weight could be charged at the highest parcel weight.
Customers are advised to make adequate insurance cover on all goods. The following websites should be able to offer advice:
